Libraries in Your Backyard and Around the World

What’s the fun in creating a site like this if we don’t go out and visit some libraries around the world? Each month we’ll go to a different library to see why it’s captivating.

Is it hundreds of years old? Was it always a library? Is there something in its collection that can’t be found anywhere else? Can you spend the night there? Is it haunted? Was it in a movie?

Maybe these libraries are in your neighborhood, just down the street from you…or maybe they’re on the other side of the world, just down the street from someone else.

No matter where they are,
let’s go there and explore the world through libraries!

I’ll try to cover as many unique libraries as I can. Let me know if you have one in mind that you’d like me to visit and explore! Or, if you’d like to donate to and support the Library Cat travel fund, please considering donating today!
